  • Naan is too small for the cost and looked like the ready made one. Apart from that the taste of chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo was good. Mutton biryani was yummy but quantity was less for the price. Overall a good indian food experience. Will definitely recommend for the taste. The server was very polite and accommodating. He heated up the gulab jamun when asked to.

  • This is such a hidden gem. We came here on a recommendation from a friend and were originally confused to find it in a gas station building. DONT let that run you off. I've had Indian food from upscale places all over the country in my military days that weren't nearly as amazing as this. The owner is amazingly personable and he is dedicated to service. I was getting over a cough and when he noticed me coughing he was worried the spice was too much for me and offered to add some cream sauce to my curry. He was so excited by how pleased we were with his food he gave us samples of a few other things just to be able to have us try it. He's a chef from the Disney cruise lines trying to settle down and I just KNOW that if people give him a chance he'll turn this into a one of a kind location. He cooks from his soul and you can tell. If you’re looking for a fancy date, this isn’t the place yet. If you’re looking for food that will make you close your eyes in pure joy while supporting a small owner’s dream, this is the one. (As an added bonus the leftovers are just as amazing the second time around)

  • Talk about the best kept secret in Texas. By far the most delicious Indian food I have ever had. Don’t let the fact that it’s located in a gas station stop you from trying it. I promise you will want to come back for more. You can smell the fragrant spices when you enter the store. But that still didn’t prepare me for the delightful meal I was about to devour. I ordered the chicken biryani. The rice was fluffy and flavorful and the meat was so tender moist and full of flavor. My friend ordered butter chicken. I forget what my other girlfriends ordered. I was busy eating :). I dipped every bite of my garlic naan in the butter chicken sauce. Yum yum. My mouth is watering right now lol. The chef was so friendly. I had to know more about him. Turns out he grew up in India and he was a chef on a Disney Cruise Ship. Thanks to the pandemic he had to start new. Gainesville is one lucky town to have this talented chef. There is love in his food. You can taste it. I’ll be back.

  • Nice Indian dhaba style food with courteous staff. The food was served warm. This restaurant is inside a gas station and there is an adjacent subway also. There are plenty of seating tables present. The curries are good. The naan is frozen. The biriyani is also not good. All the food seems pre-prepared mostly. Overall it’d be a nice joint for trying some Punjabi style food.

  • If you love authentic Indian food with authentic spices, this is the place to get it. Not necessarily a place to sit down to eat at it's inside the gas station but seating is available. The food is absolutely amazing, they know what they're doing!! I've been back several times and not once have I been disappointed!!

  • Hidden Gem Inside a Gas Station Indian Dhaba in Gainesville is a pleasant surprise located inside a gas station. Despite its unassuming location, the food is fantastic with authentic and flavorful Indian dishes. The menu offers a great variety for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The service is friendly and quick, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal on the go. If you’re in the area and craving Indian cuisine, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

  • Don't be put off by the surroundings, this is a great place for traditional Indian food. The vegetable samosas are huge and so perfectly flaky and spiced. The beef samosas are delicate and delicious. I also had the garlic paneer appetizer and the butter chicken, both of which were excellent. Perfectly cooked basmati rice and garlic Naan rounded out the experience. I will be back!
